Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
Signing up to the waiting list is free. When you sign up, we'll be in contact with a questionnaire to start to work out exactly how our community membership will work and how much it will cost. We know we'll be offering Premium Insurance to protect our members' everyday legend, as well as supplying a dashcam for peace of mind when their pride and joy is being enjoyed by someone else. You can expect a one-off sign up fee (which includes a year's membership and your dashcam and insurance package) of around £99.00 - £199.00, followed by a yearly subscription of around £49.00 - £99.00. The value of your vehicle will have an impact on how much your subscription fees are
How will the rental process work?
You'll be able to upload the details of your car to our website (we'll help you fill out all the information needed) and add in its availability based on your preferences. Once that's done, people will be able to make bookings at times that suit you to take it out for a journey down memory lane! Every person who wants to rent a car will be carefully vetted and subject to our terms and conditions, including being protected by our comprehensive insurance. You'll also have a dashcam in your car to give you the added peace of mind that every journey is recorded.
What kind of protection will the insurance provide?
We know that you feel protective of your everyday legend, so our insurance will offer a platinum level of protection - this will include: Point 1 Point 2 Point 3 Point 4 Point 5
Will my car be eligible?
If your car is more than 30 years old, then the short answer is 'yes'! We're looking for the everyday legends that real people have owned and driven - that means it doesn't have to be a sports car, or really unusual or rare. It just needs to evoke that nostalgic feeling in someone when they see your everyday legend.
How much money can I earn?
Well, that's really up to you! We know you love driving your pride and joy, so it depends how often you're prepared to let someone else feel that joy too. If you're willing to allow your car to be used for 2 hours, every other Saturday - assuming a 30% commission for you on a £80 price paid by the customer and you're earning £728 per year for 2 hours a fortnight! Imagine how much you could earn if you were prepared to share more often and for longer...
